After suffering quite a nasty fall I hobbled around in pain for ten months visiting my Gp many times I was then referred to Mr Barkatali He informed me that I had a torn cartilage and that I required an arthroscopy, Mr Barkatali explained in full detail about the procedure and what the out come may and may not be. I had the operation in November last year at the Oakland's hospital the results of which, are just Amazing, I can now walk instead of limp and both knees now match each other !! Due to the reduction of swelling. I cannot thank Mr Barkatali enough !!! what a very professional Gentleman and for you ladies out there he is also very good looking.

Admitted as emergency trauma with complex right sided pelvic fracture extending to the acetabular surface, after a falling from my cycle. He explained the options for treatment and the consequences/potential outcomes for each option and the reasons for the chosen treatment. I felt involved in this decision. Throughout my 4 and half week stay in hospital, of which 4 weeks was on skeletal traction, he and his team kept me appraised of ongoing treatments. The traction meant I was unable to move from the bed, but the updates on treatment, recovery prognosis and care given made this tolerable. 6 months after my accident, having followed his guidance and advice, I am fully mobile and back to cycling.

I was treated by Mr. Barkatali for a cruciate ligament injury. I was given full information and the various options there were open to me. Communication between Mr. Barkatali and his team was excellent throughout. The operation itself and recovery could not have got any better. After only 5-6 weeks after the procedure I was fully functional and back to normal. Mr. Barkatali clearly is an expert in this field and I am delighted with the whole experience. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr. Barkatali.

i was kept well informed throughout my stay in hospital prior to and following an operation to repair a tendon that included piecing the split halves together and drilling the knee to allow this . I am pleased with the follow up procedures .mr barkatalisalford and his team are thanked by me as he and they are at the top of their game
